The WRP Process--
The WRP Wedding Process is pretty fluid and full of communication. From the contact form below, I will send over the WRP Wedding Guide. From there, I love to talk more with you guys about your wedding details and get to answer any questions you have for me. It is also fun to share my experiences with you and we can talk about the venue and vision for the day, what you want it to feel like, my style of shooting and I address any concerns or ideas you guys may have. We work out all of the details and make sure the WRP is the perfect fit for your big day. To finalize everything and secure your date and package, I send over a proposal to be approved, a contract to be signed and then the nonrefundable deposit of 35% of the package total is due to lock it all in. From here, we will start planning out your engagement session if you want one and I send over a big Welcome Guide that has a whole list of amazing wedding industry vendors from florists to makeup to videography, you name it, along with some helpful tips in regards to the timeline of your wedding from a photography stand point.
The big elements of my business that I will always continue to focus on is to keep each wedding as personalized and true to each couple, to keep it as easy-going, stress free and fluid as possible in the planning process and more-so on the wedding day, and to provide consistent communication, transparency and galleries delivered within their contracted time frames of 4-6 weeks.
If you guys are interested, I'd love to meet up for coffee and do a venue tour and chat with your other vendors so that we all are working together cohesively to give the wedding of your dreams.
Two Different Kinds of Wedding Coverage --
Full Day Coverage
My photography style naturally has a documentary approach to it’s baseline. I prefer to keep all attention and focused on my wedding couples as they are embraced and celebrated by their people throughout the entire wedding day. Certainly, there is a time for posing and portraits but for most of the wedding day I am focused on the in-between moments, the smaller details, the bigger picture, and capturing the day as it feels for you.
Weddings are carefully and artistically designed by each vendor involved with the venue playing a major role how the day unfolds. Weddings are a significant investment financially and emotionally. It is so important to me that the wedding couples that I work with value and trust their vendors’ opinions and insight in a way that I am able to arrive on the wedding day and document all of the dedication that has been put into this one day, this day that is the start of a marriage.
The way that I go about shooting weddings is to keep things “stress-free” and “a breeze” couples reviewed, the easiest aspect of the wedding day. Keeping my clients relaxed and comfortable plays as much of an intricate part in their wedding photographs as does the actual shooting of the wedding.
A big conversation that comes up when you are in your planning process is about the timeline and I have always referred to the timeline that is carefully designed by your venue, your wedding planner, your caterer, your band or DJ and your hair/makeup artists. When it comes to choosing the amount of hourly wedding coverage that best fits these timelines, I have found that sometimes it adds stress or the feeling of being rushed throughout the wedding day because couples want to be sure that they are getting all of the “big” things in within that 6 or 8 hour time frame. By focusing on including the casual moments with your wedding party before the dress and suits come on, before the ceremony begins all the way through to the end of the reception — it can feel like a compromise needs to be made, like maybe we don’t have the entire reception documented or maybe we don’t shoot as long for the casual, getting-ready time frame before the ceremony. And it doesn’t exactly sit well with me.
So many amazing moments of your wedding day fall in to the parts of the day that aren’t written in the timeline. So I have decided to add full day wedding coverage that is not confined by hourly coverage. We start photography whenever it makes sense for you both and coverage of the wedding day ends whenever it makes sense for the way the wedding day is unfolding. If you want that to start with a breakfast with your people, the moments of glam that often lead into the conversations of “remember that time we all ___” or “remember your first date when __” and go til the last song is over, a special exit takes place or if you’re planning an intimate unique after party — all of those memories can be photographed. Your wedding day timeline is just as important as ever but it no longer has to be manipulated to ensure that your photographer doesn’t miss a moment, because I will be there. That is what I envision for the Wedding Day Collection, a way to remember your wedding day from start to finish, every big moment shown with no intimate, organic moments spared.

FAQ
How much does it cost to add a second photographer to a wedding package?
A second photographer is an additional $500 to the wedding package costs. Second photographers are included in the pricing for The Wedding Day Collection.
I. Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
I am currently not planning on booking many weddings where I would be traveling. It would have to depend on date, location etc. Travel would only be a fee if it were a location out of a 2 hour driving radius from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
III. When is Peak and Off-Peak Seasons?
Peak Season is April through November and Off-Peak is December through March.
IV. What if We want to book an hourly package but aren't sure of our timeline at booking?
Not a problem at all, we can add time to your package as close as 1 week out from the wedding. Weddings tend to book out a year and 1.5 years in advance and I know it can be difficult to have timing down that far in advance. Even for hourly coverage bookings, the entire day is reserved for you so we can add time if needed.
V. Do you offer rehearsal dinner coverage?
I do! I wouldn't wait terribly long to book it because even though I am only booking one wedding per weekend for 2027, that doesn't necessarily mean the night before we would be an available date.
