A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Whenever I think of gift giving, I instantly think of what small businesses can I support while treating the ones that I love. Thankfully, we have so many amazing local small businesses here - I could never list all of my favorites without this being the longest page ever - and here are a few that come to mind this holiday season!

For the fitness gifts - no matter the intensity or commitment level - The Edge Academy is an amazing gym for individual training (with high quality trainers) and group/team training for kids and sports of all types (we absolutely love Paul Marek Skills for lacrosse training and Coach Coop with the basketball skills development one on one training)! They also have physical therapists (Shore Elite PT) and massage therapists (Mobile Performance Therapy) on site!

For the beauty gifts - We have quite a few really great salons here on the island, our favorite two are Levity Hair Studio (ask for Mel, Taylor and Maddi!) and Salon Atelier (Diana is the only stylist my guys will see on the island!) If you are looking for that perfect glow, Shoreline Tans by Lauren is a favorite among ALL of my brides and you can never wrong with Island Sun Tanning, too! Island Nails is my favorite for all things manicures and pedicures!

For the fashion gifts - Some of my absolute favorite pieces ever come from Hope Boutique and I have been dying to try out the new shop within Levity, Elevate! Also, even though she's Annapolis, Beautifully Wilde Boutique is worth the trip over the bridge!

For the everyday wear/cozy gifts - Salt Washed Clothing Co and Mama and Babes Co have the cutest and coziest loungewear/relaxed wear with such cute and fun designs.

For the fun and festive gifts - Half Full Boutique, The Market at the Inn, and Sunkissed Flower Farm are just a few that have everything you could never think of but are THE perfect gift!

For personalized gifts - Calligraphy by Katie is creating so many cute personalized gifts in ways I could never think of!

For the sweet gifts - Tasty Toucan, Fields of Heather Bakery, and Peace of Cake can suit every set tooth's wants!

For the foodies - Bark BBQ (the brisket bowl), The Market at the Inn (the Turkey Cobb salad and the Hot Italian), Fisherman's and Dockhouse are some amazing food stops and restaurants around here! And if you're looking for some delicious coffee - Woodbridge Nursery and Crafts and Dessert First (you can find Rise Up coffee here!) cannot be beat.

For the boozy gifts - we love Bakers and Love Point Deli and we don't really go anywhere else around here!

For the furry friends - Bev's Grooming and The Grooming Place have everything you could think of or need!
