happy birthday!
First birthday cake smashes are always such a fun session, they are truly entertaining for everyone involved and are such care-free photos to look back on. I find them particularly sweet when I can reflect back to the newborn session we did together a year ago.
No matter how big of a sweet tooth your little one has in the means of loving smushed fruit, the taste of the occasional ice cream, or whatever they may have tried in their first year - nothing prepares them to smash into a gorgeous and most importantly, delicious cake! Some go a little hesitant to start, others dive right on in. Some really don't like when the hands get messy, and some don't even care if their toes get messy too. Some like to share with their siblings and their parents, some turn on the defense when you get too close. However your baby experiences his first birthday cake smash is perfect!
Myles was little hesitant in February at the beginning of his cake smash. Thank goodness his big brother Cam was there to help out!
And yes, "Baby Shark" was stuck in my head the remainder of the day.
