any kind of milestone
Milestone sessions can be booked to document any type of milestone in your life. Most common, though, are the gender reveal and birthday milestones. These sessions can be booked as mini sessions or standard sessions. We can incorporate any sentimental items or props you may have.
I have a few signs that were created by Calligraphy by Katie (Katie Hall) that can be used for these sessions. The signs say things from "expecting", "hi, I'm new here", "three months", "six months", "nine months", "one whole year", and "you are so loved". I have the "mom" and "dad" jean jackets that were created by Kimberly George Art, too, and letterboards that we can customize.
We can think up a whole lot of ideas to make your gender reveal exciting and fun! From smoke bombs or sparkle/glitter explosions, balloons, baby items - there are so many things we can do to announce your new baby. These sessions are not exactly maternity sessions as most times, baby is barely showing and it is around the time you make the announcement that you are expecting. We do little posing and the gender reveal milestone session is completely documentary style.
Some of my favorite birthday milestone sessions have included cake smashes, first steps walking, personalized boards, flower milk baths, and the cutest birthday outfits.
