Joanie and Griff planned their wedding

to take place at her childhood church and her parent's property on the water in St Michael's MD. This wedding was so detail oriented and every single thing was curated perfectly. The huge sailcloth tent on the water, Griff's boat tied at the dock, the delicate lace of Joanie's dress and her stunning Something Bleu shoes, to the perfectly designed table scape with the natural wood chairs, bare tables, ivory detailed lines, and natural checkered dance floor .. it was this eastern shore photographer's dream June wedding.

Joanie is the only daughter with two brothers

and wanted to be sure to get a first look with dad, then with her brothers and then with her girls. Each one was such a beautiful reveal and you could feel how excited each person was to see her as she was ready to marry her person. However, the couple chose to keep their first look traditional and wait for the aisle -- which is always a personal preference of mine.

their wedding day was full of

just enough portraits to give us all the classic frame worthy photos and a ton of sweet moments from ceremony through reception and everything in between. Some of favorite moments were sweet moments between Joanie and her daughter, during cocktail hour with Joanie and her grandmother and then watching the whole family join them on the dance floor immediately following introductions. The super cute sunset photos with a slightly tipsy bride and groom are always a fun time, too!
